A little special lunch

 I spent my last day of the first month of 2011 in school (like duh, as usual)! IAP in the morning, like this is nothing really special to talk about. Uncle drove us to IMM and had Ajisen for lunch! Beef Ramen plus Volcano sauce and a little bit of fried chicken wings rock my day!

I know, I cannot imagine too. 2011 has only 11 months left and Thomas is already back in Sinapore for almost 5 days and of course I can't wait for Chinese New Year like srsly because its my favourite Festival of the entire year! So much visiting to do. Yes, I didn't fail my English. I used MUCH because its that many that I couldn't count. Even if I did, I'd just lose count all of a sudden.

Shopped the entire Orchard and Bugis on Sunday with my sister and Zixuan cuz we HAD to get New Year clothes. Not that we didn't wanna get earlier. Its just that we really didn't have time to do school. School works' been piling on us and the feeling is really NO GOOD. 

I was satisfied with myself cuz I made full use of a hundred bucks my Dad gave me. I've got 4 tops, 2 bottoms, 2 skirts, 2 bags, 2 wallets and 1 pathetic wedge for New Year! I think my sister has around the same but she's got a pair of heels on top of that! 

Couldn't be more excited about Reunion Dinner with everyone upstairs, Double BBQ Steamboat at home as well as interesting talks we do every year!!!!!!!! Like although we've been together for almost everyday, we'd still have countless things to talk about! (Y)

Anyway, I just hope that school ends quickly tmr cuz I have a tuition at 5, and after that I am going to throw everything aside and get over and done with projects and tests (just for awhile)! Nothing is gonna obstruct me from celebrating Chinese New Year! The most at night come home and don't sleep lor. 

I still have a test tmr, a CSB test and I have to get to school by 10.30. So I think I should just go sleep now before I cannot wake up for it. Goodnight ppl! Happy February! 

Faster, faster!

I heard about this before but I don't know if it is true. People say that how time flies in that particular year depends on the zodiac animal for that year! So if its the year of Dragon, the whole year will just vanish in a swift. If its the year of Pig, you'll have to pass time really slowly. I don't know if its true but it is like what's happening now.

I've been doing nothing really for this year cuz the CNY mood is really here alr and today's the last day of Jan 2011, which also means that 2011 is left with 11 months and I am so done with 3 years of Poly life in a month's time.

Now, I don't know how all these are happening and I have no idea if I should be happy about it. What I am really sure of is that THOMAS IS BACK and he is so super cuteeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am doing a favour for all the JJ Lin lovers out there!! Stop hunting for him! Just watch these!!!!!! I swear Singaporean's English is damn good, that's why only JJ & Huang Jing Lun knows what each other's talking about! Both of them are sooooooo cute!! (L)(L) love love love!

I am having a test tmr :( AFA test! Life hasn't been really bad for me :D I think I can do tmr's test. I think so.

I lost that stone

Had dinner with my wonderful people on Saturday, after a long and tiring day of work! Worth it much much (L) 

I just want chinese new year to come like ASAP cuz I can't wait to take a break from school and tuitions :(

Ajisen's student deal is a must-catch!! Awesome serving for minimum pricing! Go for it! But its starts at 2 anw so we had to sit in for 15mins before ordering hahaha!!

Went to so many banks :) We've got no money but we can take ang baos! But only managed to get DBS's. But anw that's not the main point. The main point is that we're now home alr!! And I'm going to continue with my projects! 

I was doing project on th train earlier on and I missed my stop :( Sucha loser I know.

Meeting Wanqing and we're going study and have dinner (Y)!! Can't wait....!! She just called to tell me about the good news too :D

I know I'm being super unrealistic but how I wish I could just sprinkle some magic powder over my projects and everything could be done in the split of a second.

Can school just give us a break? I seriously need more time.

The unbeatable's IPOD 2011!

T'was a wonderful event. We met up in school early in the morning and my contact lens expired so I went to open a new pair! It was the brown one :) But it didn't look quite obvious except that my eyes looked v weird haha! 

Anw, we had a round robin kinda match and there were 4 rounds we had to play! 2 of them against SP, 1 against NP and one against HQ 12I!

Our first match was with NP and we had so much difficulty playing! You know why? Hahaha we didn't train at all, ok la I don't even know who are in my group at first haha! And then we did some last minute warm up there we went off to the super f muddy field and started our first game! Yes, it was really muddy cuz there was rain in the morning!!!!!

You know I hate mud, sand and dirty dirty thingos :( I really cannot stand it and my skin will start to itch! My feet were stucked in the mud, watery ones summore!! Gosh, everyone's shouting about how difficult it was to walk on the field cuz your shoes will be stucked to the mud!! How to run like that!!!!!

We lost our 1st against NP and 2nd game against Eric Leung's team, with the score of 0-something. And yes, both 0 were ours LOL!! They were - not bad.

Had lunch in the afternoon, some chicken vegetable hotdog rice with the vegetable which tasted like uncooked ones. Yeah, I'm damn picky on vegetables so I left half the food untouched. Played a few games amongst ourselves before the 2nd half of the whole Frisbee event. 

Won 3-2 against the other SP team, ok Idw to elaborate more on them because the experience was horrible. 

Had our last game against HQ's 12I and they were the strongest group amongst all of us!!! Of course, playing with the Frisbee-trained team, we couldn't even get any points right!!! But we were so lucky because they decided to close 3 eyes when playing with us and we managed to get 2 points from them.

Our total score of 5 points entitled us a place in the Bronze medal match after the default rule of having the team with the most number of wins into the Semis when there's a draw. Its not that we didn't want to play a match with them again. Its the default rule we're supposed to follow right? Not forgetting that they didn't even have the resources to play with us.

Had some last minute training given by the Captain of 12I after we ask them to teach us and the tactics really worked. They stood outside the court with me when they were fighting against NP for the Bronze medal! I think that's the way sportsman should be like. They cheered for us and also shouted to remind us what to do and when we're supposed to mark the other team! All thanks to them, we won the Bronze Medal Match with a score of 2-1 and brought home the 2nd Runner-up Bronze Medal!

This shouldn't be a reflection but I thought to myself. It's the team with the best attitude who deserves to win. On top of the skills they had, the willingness to teach us made me super touched. They are the true winners.

Other than the positive sportsman, there were also some negative ones that pissed me off. 输不起就不要比. Understand?

P.s. This is prolly the last competitive event that I attended in SP or SPP. But hey! For the entire year, I feel so proud for our group because in whatever we played, we will always clinched one of the top 3 prizes! Pro or what!!! My boys also clinched 1st in Basketball ytd!! Oh yeah, so proud of them!

I am or I should say "I should be" satisfied with myself today and everything I studied paid off. I am going to sleep right now! Super tired today.

I had my test at 1145 so I left home at 1030 to ensure that I wouldn't be late if there were all 6 mins train (like always)! Rushed into the exam hall cuz I was still late -.- Completed and passed the test. Good (:

Rushed for tutorial and had 3 hours of nothing learnt :( 

Left class 15mins earlier since there was nothing much to do and went to catch bus 14 to my tuition area. It took me 1 hr and 30mins (YES) and I was so pissed off. Late for tuition DUH!

Cabbed down to Tampines to meet my BFFs! I also feel good with them around cuz we can talk about anything under the sun (Y)!

Until now, I've been doing alot of things I should and shouldn't do and I think its really time for me to go catch a wink since my eyes are pretty tired.

IPOD tmr since morning and thn dinner at night. Gonna be doing project till late night and tuition on Sunday morning. 

Packed, but I like it. Fulfilling.

I love $$, who doesn't?

Anyyyyway, that's not the main topic! I officially love Tuesdays because............ I start school at 1pm and I can sleep in late, CSB is the best lesson I enjoyed in school for the entire 3 years in my poly life I must say, and of course, I have NO tuitions to run after on Tuesday evenings (Y) How great can life be on Tuesdays yeah!!!!!

Met Wanqing (L) for some "studying" session at Stadium's Mac cuz we wanted to be abit more "High-class" rather than having ourselves seen at Aljunied's neighborhood Mac cafe haha! The environment was way way better and we spent almost 5 hours there having lunch, and doing work. We didn't even play with our itouch nor chit chat! What a great achievement! Ok, I have 8am morning lessons tmr and I am supposed to be sleeping now. But I still have my textbook made up of 677 pages to read and some theory thingy that I'm supposed to complete on Friday and PASS. Ciaos~

'd Regret.

I'm now trying to do my MA ppt for my own presentation and at the same time, forcing Szemin to do Emaths questions. I think she really needs to complete all her questions at least from the textbook because that's the least revision she can do! After all, the textbooks are done up based on the Olevels syllabus right? She may think its abit too early for all these to be coming but its better early than late. By the time her Olvls come, she'd have alot more other things to revise on :( Argh, to hell with that, but I still think the kan jiong exam feeling is really really cool heeheehe! I like how I'd rush day and night and tell myself I'm not yet done with preparation up till 5mins before the exam hall, I like how everyone will spam facebook/twitter about how life sucks things may get! But I like!!!! Ok, I'm disgusting but Idc cuz I like to study and go for exams and I hate last minute revisions that I usually do, but nothing is going into my brain if I start my revision way earlier!! 

I love us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I gotta complete my MA ppt before we all go upstairs and have dinner and have lots of fun together yay!

Anw, my school has Iphone Apps that we can download! There is one that we're particularly interested in! Its called SP Cam and it shows us the different areas (Foodcourts & Hangouts) through some cameras so that we'd know which area has lesser crowd and we can avoid those places with tons of people! Cool or what? Sp rocks !

Finally I had some time off to sit down and surf the net and the first thing I usually do is to check Twitter. It was so hilarious when I saw "周杰明" as a Twitter worldwide trend! What a remarkable feat Singaporean's done :))!!! I personally think that Elvin Ng's damn cute even before this show but he's performance in 破天网 definitely leaves a deep impression in all of us! Even small kids know what is “4:30了 周杰明吃巧克力的时间到了” &   “11:00 了 周杰明睡觉的时间到了” and obviously not forgetting “周杰明要和小颖一起睡觉". While surfing more about what is happening and why did he even get to the trending list, I was googling about Elvin Ng and saw something that happened quite sometime ago. 

It was about the news that 黄俊雄 started attacking & 郭亮 counter-attacked him on their individual blogs. It wasn't about the content that I was interested in, but their language and how the different knowledge in difference languages could post such a huge impact on their communication. Maybe it was their languages that caused a misunderstanding between them. 

I went on to do some further research. I know la, abit bo liao. But I really wanna know how come small little words they used could land them on Channel News Asia's new report. So here's what I found out.

黄俊雄 (http://www.elvinng.net/blog/) is a graduate from NUS Eng Lit and he graduated with an Honours Degree. Obviously he's more understandable in English rather than in Chinese right. And on the other hand, 郭亮 is so well known for his proficiency in Chinese and how well he can relate things in the Chinese variety shows he hosted. 

It was a close fight, yet I think both of them won, in the mastery of their languages. I went on to read their other blog posts and what I like was their way of expressing their thoughts, and I especially like 郭亮's (http://gmy1999.wordpress.com/) way of writing! I think they're awesome! 

Seriously, if you wanna know what is chimology and proficiency in something, I give you 2 examples, one in both languages. Its the language they've won. Not the content.

P.S It is still super cool to find Zhou Jie Ming on the worldwide twitter trend! Its world-wide mind you and he's climbing up and down over the first few places! Hahaha, sucha great impact he's made on Singaporeans, especially more to the twitter freaks who made him up there. I think people outside Singapore has got no idea who the hell is "Zhou Jie Ming" and why is he even up there together with other trends like "HTC 4G" and "Great British Granny Bang" haha! Cool or what!

Anw, I am going to turn in earlier tonight cuz I'd be tuition early in the morning tmr and thn off to do my hair! Goodnight guys!

(I finally handed and completed 3 projects that needs to be submitted and handed in, and also gotten back all the results for MSTs. I am quite satisfied yeah :)))!!!)

Life, has been quite different for the past few days. Maybe its just the start of the whole new year 2011 and we're still so used to writing "2010" on our worksheets and note and you won't realise it until someone tells you. But then again, that someone will make the same mistake really soon. 

Projects are making way for themselves, 3 of them are getting out of my life and another 2 of them are coming in :( But then again, when March 2011 comes, I'd ask myself, how come I didn't wanna do them so much previously.

Just a few more weeks before Graduation and I think time had been flying past really really fast. I've alr completed 2 months of tuition, 4 groups of them and I'm feeling so attached to meeting them almost everyweek. It makes my job easier when you befriend them and not let them treat you like a teacher. Of course, being offered big houses to teach in is like really cool cuz I loveeee interior designs and the opportunity to take a look at all the other houses are just so amazing and I am super thankful for that. 

Today is Friday alr, which marks the end of the official first week of lessons for Y3T2. In a few week's time, CNY is gonna come, THOMAS is gonna come out, EXMAS are coming and then I'll go sweep the floor cuz I'll be school-less.

Haha, I think by then, I'd already have figured what I wanna do next.

Th Lttl Hppy Grl

This girl here is officially telling everyone who's reading my little space something. I am super eggcited and ultra happy now cuz I went to check SP's academic calendar! You may think its like super nothing much but take a look below!! If you didn't spot anything good in place, look again! & again & again & again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okkkkkkkk, I've decided to be really nice like always and give you a clue. Its the exam week! My exam week officially ends on the 4th March and guess what's gonna happen next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (left a tag in my tagboard if you know what I'm thinking about! If you've got my answer, I'll be really happy!!)

Ok anw, finally in a while's time, I'll be able to move on to my next project and complete some tutorials cuz I have an 8am AFA tutorial in the morning! Duh! Hahaha, and tmr's gonna be a super long day with school from 8-3 and tuition from 5-6.30 thn home and project again! I think my brain cells are killing themselves cuz I've been doing alot of things wrongly recently. What's worse is that excel is dying on my and I think my lappy too. :(

A little surprise holiday.

Today was great because I spent most of the time doing what I always wanted to do! Slept till 11plus in the morning and went NAFA to pay my sister's school fees. The school looks amazingly cool on the inside! I always thought it was some normal campus but the design's cool! 

Had lunch at Bugis (again) and thn Toast Box coffee, went home and sleep like nobody's business. Woke up at 8plus again to catch my 9pm Breakout while Weijian sms me "zhou jie ming is a bloody hacker" HAHAHA! Cool or what! I think in the next few hours, its gonna be non-stop excel-ing again. But excel has been sucha bitch cuz its hanging every now and thn aiyo life sucks :( but all thanks to my lecturer's overseas thingy that gave me a little holiday on my own :D So good to be out when EVERYONE ELSE's IN SCHOOL hahaha!!!

I need a break

I guess after submission today, I'll have a break for at least a week. The reason why I am still awake now and not sleeping it that my air-con is breaking down and its making so much noise that I couldn't go back to sleep! Luckily I slept at around 11 plus and I woke at at 4 realising my sister is not around in the room. I thought she went out so early in the morning cuz she's alr back home way before I went to sleep. Oh dear little did I realise that she's having diarrea and she cannot help but vomit until her face abit white hur. The worse thing is that when I ask her whether she's taken medicine, she doesn't even know which one to take. I went to the table with my eyes half-closed and realised she took out 4 different types of medicine but none of them were correct. Applied some medical oil on her tummy, gave her 2 panadols and she's now deep asleep. How I wish I can do that too uh. But the air con is really really super noisy that Weijian and I tried to tape the machine LOL! Ok, I know that sounded really dumb but that's the only idea we can think of at that time but hey, it actually worked.......for a second. Gosh. I am now printing some bits of project that I missed out ytd and I'm going to take a bath and get breakfast from downstairs. I nearly forgot that I have tuition this evening and told my mum that I'll be back by 5. Aha! Ok ciaos~ I need to carry 2 big files to school in an hour's time. 

Actually...........I'm really really tired.

New Year Resolutions for 2011?

Ha, New Year Resolutions for 2011? I think I can save it. I just want this term to end fast and I wanna get out of the school quick. Contradicting uh? Cuz I've been saying how much I hate school to end and how much I don't wanna leave SP but hey! I had enough of all the almost solo projects and one man shows that I need to get out of this hell soon.

Anw!!!! For 2011, I wanna earn alot alot of money (but Idw to work) lol! I wanna sleep till the sun burns my butt and rest for a nong nong time which I haven't been doing for the past few months. Another long long long holiday is coming really soon, like in 8 weeks time. The last one I had was during the period after Olvls and it had been 3 years till now. Fast? Maybe, maybe not. You don't how how many things I've gone through and definitely grew stronger.

All I wish for 2011 is really simple. I want to get into the course I want to take in Uni and I want everyone to be healthy and richy! Don't laugh at my New Year resolutions even though they may sound foolish and unrealistic to you. At least, I dare to dream.

See? I ain't asking for much you know. So please grant me my wishes! TY so muchhhhhhhhh (Y)

Activity One - DL Gathering!
It has been ages since we met up with one another ya know and of course this would come into the list! Although its just a small small dinner gathering, we spent so much time gathering and collecting everyone's numbers. It's like 5 years since we were in the same class ya know! The number of people we've got back is already considered incredible hahaha!!

Activity Two: Crimson's Henderson's Wave Tour!
Kudos to Crimsons!!!! We still go out together and this Henderson's wave Tour was super tiring cuz we had to walk all the way in, and up and down and get lost and go back again. Stop and take pictures, rest and drink water, spam the vending machines and wait for the can drinks to drop down. Talk and crap, laugh and cannot stop giggling. That's what Crimsons' all about!

Yes you're right! After 3 years being in the same class, or should I say almost 3 years now, we've finally had our class chalet! Its really different when you see people getting drunk when they're v v sober in class. Everything's just so memorable. This should be the last class chalet we'll have I guess.

All thanks to this bunch of people whom I got to know. They made my last year in Singapore Poly the most memorable year and the year where I'ld want to repeat most. Thank you guys. They know how much I love them. I'd nvr get enough fun with this bunch of people! ARGH! the worst thing is that, my hair is so screwed in all those pictures. I hate the hairdresser and I'm never gonna go back there ever again! :[

Activity Eight: SB Fire Drill
LOL your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. We HAD fire drills in SB. Cool or not? We get to skip lessons and gather at the SP Stadium, mark attendance and wait for the "fake fire" to be put out, and thn the director finally decides to let us all back to our respective classes. Some where having lectures and the poor lecturer had to like mark almost 10 plus classes of attendance and some classes were just about to end lesson and thn they were delayed by the whole damn thing lol. Some classes were on the 6th floor and they had to climb the stairs all the way down while my lucky class was having CSB at level one so we didn't have to squeeze through the stairs and the crowd.

Xmas 2010 (Family Version)

On the 23th, we went to watch Tron and its a really nice movie and on the 24th, we went Sentosa! It was really fun! Although we had nothing much to do cuz I wouldn't find my Monopoly Deal and we didn't bring clothes to change so we couldn't get into the water... but being with one another is enough.

We've then decided, or should I say Wanq and I decided to drag everyone else to the Fort Canning Park for the Wax Museum cuz it has been years since we stood in there. The structures were amazing I should say and the tunnels are so cool cuz they managed to maintain it the way it used to be. Really narrow and warm. 

We had a good tour guide and the mini bus driver! They are only allowed to fetch us if its raining cuz Fort Canning's supposed to be a walking tour on our own. But the driver agreed to fetch us after I asked him for the 2nd time! Its like a bonus you see! I really appreciate alot for that! At least we had chance to talk a look at some more things cuz it saves us alot of walking time!

While waiting for the minibus at one the tunnels which screens the WW2 videos. There we had our picnic! We brought so much food to Sentosa but we're too busy with water, Frisbee, Volleyballs and chit-chatting plus washing up! So we had to picnic in this air-coned area, which was also not a bad idea right hahaha! But do you or do I not know if that place allows food and drinks? Aiya, none of my business now. We didn't see any signs there thn so we interpreted that we are free to picnic hahaha!!  

After a tiring day out, we caught the train from Habourfront and guess what, the whole row of Itouch and Iphones! Madness hahaha!!!

We had so much food at home but the connection here is super lag so I couldn't upload all of them so the main points will do! This!!! Presents for everyone!!!
