Go google yourself! You'll never know what you"ll find out :D!

Dying inside

There are far too many things happening right now, for the past one week :( I don't know how to explain that, neither do I know how to talk about it. I just know this - I appreciate everyone around me, everyone who were moved to tears. Right now, let's just take a break.

Life has never been fair

Sometimes because you just aren't the same, you aren't the priority ; because you don't agree, you get scolded ; because you state what you feel, the people around you are being criticized.

I am not making us look bad. I am just expressing what I feel. Just that I am the first one who said it out, doesn't mean that I am the only one who feels this way. Know the facts. Be fair.

Worried

This is the last time I swear. Hope everything's gonna alright for this. No more next time, really.

Simple bday, simple lunch

Xinyan's Birthday lunch a few weeks ago.

I think I'm a sucker cuz I need the birthday girl to remind me, "It's my bday on xxx, so you can book me on xxx." After I went out with her, I thought her birthday was a few days ago, and I also thought that I was celebrating a belated-birthday with her, I went home. What surprised me was when I saw the facebook column - Xinyan's Birthday (Today). And it was like ok, wtf I didn't even wish her the entire day. Ok, partly is her fault right cuz she also never remind me to wish her lol. I will improve (try).

New loots , late nights

Blue hasn't been my kinda colour for those who know me well, but these were exceptions cuz they're rather cheap but not that cheap and the nude pink one I'm wearing now is gonna be broken without any notice in the coming days. Its already so worn out but I don't wanna throw it away! Its one of the comfortable shoes I found! Gonna try these on only if the pink one cannot be worn anymore. It is now already like 1/4 tattered and torn but I don't care, cuz I love them. Mummy chose these for me and she say they look nice, IKR!!

The song for us, lazy peeps

I am not someone who's very into English songs but Bruno Mars has been at the top few of my selection list and this made my day! Down with flu and now flu just got abit better, and there goes my throat :(

GE 2011: What's on their brain?

I received numerous calls and smses before the actual results for GE 2011 was announced by the guy who went 一炮而红 last night. Before he had the chance to recite "‎Pursuant to Section 49, Sub-Section 7E, Paragraph A of the Parliamentary Elections Act....", I was already informed about PAP's loss of Aljunied. It doesn't hurt when you're staying in Aljunied and you voted him out. It hurts when there are so many people who are staying outside Aljunied GRC and wants to support him desperately. The feeling - 无能为力.

I read an article on the reaction of ASEAN's leaders and it upsets me so much. And I quote the words, "Nothing is static. Things will change. In every change we need to ensure that it is for the positive. Not view it as a negative". You think that things will still be the same in the years to come? Dream on. The opposition will hold significant power one day, and things in Singapore will eventually turn into what is happening in Taiwan or many other countries these days. Till then, you regret. That is then called too-late.

So now, a significant number of Aljunied voters has chosen the Worker's Party team (above) to represent them in the Parliament instead of the People's Action Party. It is 5 years, starting from now, they get to queue right at the back. Why do I say this? Because they're under PAP. As realistic as it sounds like.

1. When you file in complains and the Worker's Party team returns you an email within a day, you'd expect something like this, "Dear resident of Aljunied GRC, we will look into the matter but we cannot guarantee you if we can help you solve the problem in time anot. We have too many residents to take care of as of now. Please wait patiently. This is a computer generated message. No signature and reply is required. We hope to speak to you soon."  And then you wait and wait and wait. Because they do not experience with so many people to handle. This is your fault. You chose them, don't blame others.

2. When you write in a letter to the MP complaining that the Meepok stall-holder sells a bowl of fishball noodles at $1.50, but with only 1 fishball and some noodles, they will reply you this, "Dear resident of Aljunied GRC, we promised you that we will tackle with the rising cost of living. That's why we sent in an order for all the stall-holders to sell the residents things at a cheaper price. For $1.50, that's all you can expect. So we did our job, we delivered what we promised, we can't do anything more for you regarding that pathetic fishball." Afterwhich, please do not come to my area and eat the 5 fishball $2.50 fishball noodles. You asked for it.

3. When your toilet bowl cracks and everything is leaking, you complain. "Dear MP, please do something about my toilet bowl. I need to shit urgently." They will give you a quick reply, "Dear resident of Aljunied GRC, please use a scotch-tape to tape the cracks first. We will think of a way to solve your problems ASAP. Thank you for filing in your complain." And then you wait (again) and to realise that they will only come repair your toilet bowl after the finishing repairing all the other cracked toilet bowls which are governed under the PAP constituencies. Either that, or you pay for your own toilet bowl repairs.

4. When you want a sheltered walkway to the nearest MRT station cuz the weather is getting really unbearable recently, they'll tell you this, "Dear resident of Aljunied GRC, we have also received numerous complains about this problem and we're already trying our best to send in requests to build some sheltered walk-ways in the neighborhood. We are facing a very big problem becuase all the other residents in the different GRCs governed by PAP are having the same requests and all the workers are working for them first. We may have to wait. Meanwhile, we can sell you our Worker's Party umbrella at $15 each and it is on a buy 3 get 1 free basis. Would you like to consider our Worker's Party wristband as well? Thank you for your kind understanding but we would like to let you know that, you have to wait patiently." Ya, selling umbrellas when PAP gives them out for free. Don't comment about why PAP gives them out for free and not the WP. I am not interested with those Pro-WP comments.

I don't feel like writing more because the list goes on and on and its never-ending. I am still really upset about losing our Foreign Minister George Yeo. Even outsiders, those in other countries, acknowledge his capabilities and character, so I don't understand how come the significant numbers of voters in Aljunied did not comes to their senses. I quote from MM Lee, "Aljunied voters will have 5 years to repent." Ask yourself, you want a "First World Parliament" over "Securing your future together", for what? Does having a first world parliament concerns you? Or your own future is more important?

Maybe we should call for a re-election in Aljunied because many of the older folks are mistaken ed by the voting instructions. I do not rule out the possibility of older folks or even first time voters to do this (see below) on their polling card, because they want the Worker's Party out of the Parliament. Am I right? We've been taught from young that, putting a cross (X) means no good or it means don't want. Maybe 10k voters are damn blur and they "accidentally" voted for the WP when they want them to get out of their way. Maybe a re-election in Aljunied would be good enough. Ya, dream on.

Now, maybe we can 学华语 through this entire General Election as well.

1. Potong Pasir's Mr. Sitoh Yih Pin - 守得云开见月明
11 years of serving the people in an opposition ward, you think its easy? I think he deserves more than this result. 没有功劳也有苦劳. He fought from 38 years old to 49 now. Applause for him please.

2. Nicole Seah's Complain - 惹是生非
Complain complain complain, only know how to bully the weaker ones. How come I don't see you shooting other people in the PAP team? Cuz she's an easy target issit? 老虎不发威你把她当病猫? Go back to your parents ba, they don't have to ask the other team members to look after you anymore. 温室里的小花,你懂什么?Oh ya, she likes to cry also. How can I forget about this point.

3. Chen Shao Mao - 狐假虎威
I have nothing personal against him I swear. But how come he is getting so much attention despite the fact that he has always been hiding behind the other team members? Not for the first time, but when WP wins Aljunied ytd, he was also standing behind waving, like as if it doesn't concern him at all. He's a very good lawyer, I don't criticise that, but what substance does he inculcate that the media is so interested in him?

4. My PARLIAMENT IDOL George Yeo - 真金不怕火练

He has the capabilities, he will do well no matter what. An example of an idealistic gentleman. I'm behind you! Come back again to show it to them! All the way!

I am not biased as I believe that my idol should have more photos cuz this is my blog! If you can go for the President election, I believe you can do well too!! You're a blessed man.

Polling Day

Its polling day today which decides if we are going to have alot of useless people in the Parliament or we're going to have all our wonderful or not-so-wonderful ministers back in the house. Aljunied voters please vote George Yeo in!!!!! I think the other contested constituencies should be quite safe, cuz you aren't gonna tell me that Nicole Seah is going to beat Goh Chok Tong and gets into the Parliament, CRYING. This aren't gonna be true. And I am going for the paper in an hour's time. No television tonight. Scared ley. PAP FTW!

GE: Who is the big shot?

Nicole Seah, H A O L I A N.

Mr Yeo admitted that there is "resentment against the government".

He said to the audience: "My teammates and I will be your voice in government … we will listen."

Mr Yeo said that before Thursday evening, he had told Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong about what he was going to say at the rally.

He said: "PM (Lee) said, 'George, you and your teammates say what is in your heart'."

"I walked the ground. I met residents that support me. I listened to them. I met residents that don't support me. I listened to them. Some days we are up .Some days we are down. But we pressed on, motivated by the desire to serve," he said.

This is the man. George Yeo FTW!

In another 2 hours

This was last Welcome Party 2010! How time flies and we're going for Welcome Party 2011 with around 700 people coming!! MLT 1, WRU lol!!

Tonight's gonna be a good good night!

- Anw I am quite sad that I cnt attend George Yeo's last rally cuz I really wanna be there!! :(

Peace vs that "voice"

This is something that every Singaporean is looking at now. Comparing PAP candidates and those in the oppositions. I really didn't wanna blog anything about the General Elections at all, but 我受不了了!!!!!!!!!

Tin Pei Ling (PAP) VS Nicole Seah (NSP, or the so-called Nicole Seah Party)

I saw alot of posts commenting that the media is biased towards the PAP and it is unfair, how unfair can it be?

Almost everyone's talking about how the media is biased towards PAP in their way of reporting and the things they publish, but I have another say.

I found 2 of the ugliest photos from the same source, RazorTV and this is how biased towards PAP they show.

Nicole Seah (NS), still quite pretty even in the ugliest picture. So everyone talking about how much better she is than Tin Pei Ling (in the picture below).

If the media is really biased, they would have given Tin Pei Ling (TPL) a crown on her head of photoshop her before posting it so that she wouldn't look like a pig head in this picture or something right!!!!!!!! Hello this is a man's wife you know. So like that already v good ok please.

Comparing pictures show that I'm very ignorant? Idc, I like to go by looks cannot ah? To me, at least Tin Pei Ling sounds like she's persuasive enough. Being loud and forceful will only make things end. Yes Noisy Seah, I am referring to you. When Tin Pei Ling started to volunteer herself as a young PAP 7 years ago, where were you? Busy mugging for exams or too caught up with your bf? At least show some respect because in any case, she has more experience than you. She is a married woman and she definitely knows more than you about the cost of living and everything else cuz you are just a girl-next-door living with your parents in a 5-room flat. Oh wait, I forgot. Your mum wants the other team-mates to take care of you as well. Ah girl, go home play computer games better hor?

Another thing I found funny is this: NSP's slogan - My voice, My Choice.

Ok ok, NSP. I get what you mean. Your voice, your choice what. Simple enough. So you're elected, its still your voice, your choice. When we have problems and we go find you, you'll just ignore our problems and not see to it, not going to bring it up in the Parliament, because you'll just tell us, "My voice, my choice. You want me to speak for you in the Parliament? Wait lor. I happy that time, your voice will then become my voice." Ok great. What an impressive slogan for an impressive woman-leading-four-unknown-men team especially in MP GRC. The voters will be sure to tell you what do they mean by their voice, their choice when SM GCT and team wins over MP again, on Saturday. Maybe after that you could send me and email and I'll give you a few suggestions on what other slogans can you use to fight 风雨同舟,共创未来!

Another thing, so many comments are made about wanting Minister George Yeo to retire early, vote SM Goh out. Hello what the toot? You all got brains anot? Vote all our important people with thinkings out and then get some gay ministers and those who aren't in Singapore for more than half of their lives in? You must be kidding me.

This is especially true when it comes to Minister George Yeo. Hello look carefully ok? See what he's done for our country and how a small country like ours needs talented and friendly people like him! He's been through all those important divisions in the cabinet and I am sure he can do alot better than what the opposition can do. He definitely has alot more to offer than those who "will show you our plan if you vote us in". Ya, you vote for them, you plan to die.

Can you even imagine how foreigners will think of us when our our Foreign Minister is no longer this fatherly talented figure....

but this rather tiko-ly looking old man.......? What the ToooT again.

So please hor, before commenting on how good the opposition is, think about why are you even here commenting about all these. Without PAP, you're may not even be sitting in front of the screen now. You may be still under the control of Msia or even worse.

So, 请在闪电旁边打叉 (Quoted from Lee Mei Hua), Vote for the PAP, Vote for George Yeo, Vote for your future as a Singaporean, NOT FOR THAT CHOICE OF VOICE!

Yes, I am biased. George Yeo ftw!

Dear Diary,

It was already 11.30pm when I reached my lift lobby after today's welcome party rehearsal. I was waiting for the lift and this old man (maybe in his 70s) came to stand beside me. He was holding on to a set of Chinese newspapers in one hand and a loaf of bread in the other. I went to press the lift button and waited for the lift to come fetch me. One from coming down from 4th and the other remained on the 13th. The old man turned to me and said, "that one didn't wanna come down, so we had to take this I think." I just smiled at him, without replying when he spoke in Teochew. The lift door opened and I went in first. I asked him in Teochew and asked him which floor does he stay in. He told me 4, in Mandarin. So the first thing came into my mind was, ok, you can speak Mandarin too, not bad. There was a few seconds of silence and then it reached 4th floor again, which is where he stayed. He turned back to me and told me, "Its good to be young. Look at me, I can hardly walk now." He gave me a smile after he spoke to me in English and then he walked back. I have no idea why, but his sentence sent me home thinking, its really good to be young.
