RIO Camp 2010 - The Fear Factor

Having to survive in Sub-urbun areas for the 3rd year, I had a completely different experience!

Met up with the GLs and Committees at Changi Jetty in the afternoon/evening and we headed over to Pulau Ubin on a Bum Boat!

Unloaded all the stuffs/food/log/tents/etc and that is so many things we brought over there!

Settled down, and had to fix whatever that is not done to protect the campers' safety! Seal up the windows/fix the fans/stairs and everything!

While some of the committees are cooking dinner, we had to fix the big screen with 3 by 3 majong paper that will be used during Gala Night!

I couldn't find any scissors to cut the tap so I took a chopper on the table :x Cool hur?

After which we had some GL training again by Daddy(!) and Sebastian Maggie and I were talking crap at the same time :D

Fixed some tents but ours broke so we had to sleep in the bunk! How I wish I could sleep in the tents, which is so much cooler and lesser insects can find me!

After dinner, we had an early night and marks the first night of our RIO (NYAA) Journey.

The 2nd day was really tiring cuz we had some Map Reading lessons in the morning before we proceed on to trekking and we had to find those Quarrys in Pulua Ubin! The view was really magnificant but the company was better! We had so much fun laughing while walking and time pass like really fast!

We only managed to hit one Quarry cuz we decided to hit the furthest one first, and it rained after lunch so we didn't have the change to proceed on to the rest!

Had some ice breaking games at the bunk area and it felt really good cuz its been a long time since the gls sat down together and laugh at one another! This night was even earlier than the first because we all wanted to go home the next day!

Pohling, Chan, Gerry and I couldn't stop laughing at Ronald's "Don't be Shy" while we were chatting to sleep! Zubbie fell feep into sleep before we could laugh together! I will nvr forget that very night, so funny hehehe!

It was Day 3 of the NYAA Rio camp when the Gls had to trek to Chek Jawa so that we are familiar with the route and thn we can lead our group on the 5th day! Followed Sebby Soo all the way and we walked really fast cuz we all wanted to go home str8 after that to bath and rest a while before meeting the group at Changi Jetty again!

Can you imagine us carrying all our barang barangs and trekked all the way from our CampSite to Chek Jawa and back to the Jetty in 2 hours time! That is how much we wanted to go home and bath!

Finally we reached the Ubin Jetty! Check out our happy faces :D:D:D:D

Met my dearest Cluster B after a long day at Bedok and we bought all our foodddddd!!!!

Had Supper and thn bed time! But Grp3 will never fail to find time and play Monopoly Deal lol!

Day 4 's breakfast was done by Geraldine's group and it was French Toast!!!

We had some activities after that which scared the hell outta me cuz I saw a super big creature on the wall I'm supposed to face! Haha Ben Lee la! Randomly pick me out!

Lunch was awesome with so many ingredients with my favourite Maggie Mee Happy Happy!!

Proceeded on with the Fear Factor Journey!

Finally its Dinner time and its my proud little Pineapple Rice!!

It is super awesome ok!

Everyone eat until one rice also don't have ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It wasn't really easy to cook for 24 people, and most of the guys have to eat more cuz we really spent alot of time draining our energy! Mummy prepared 3kg of rice before hand and it wasn't enough still! Like popular demand only !!

Had supper and lights off! I rmb we played like 10 ppl's Monopoly Deal that very night and it took us like 15minutes before your turn, but it was damn shiok ok cuz everything you flash "Its my birthday!" You become super duper richy!

I don't wanna mention those green beetles, flying cockroaches and flying beetles that scare the hell outta me that very night! I rmb there was electricity stoppage and I couldn't sleep cuz it was too hot, so I msged Nuning who was just an arm's length beside me. Thank god she couldn't sleep either so we went to "walk walk" outside in the super dark area yeah! Love ya Nuning!

Day 5 was best cuz we spent so much time trekking to Chek Jawa again! We're the first to reach, as usual cuz I kiasu and we had a long lunch with the beautiful scenery and had out APPLES!!!

Although the weather was really hot, but we still had to camwhore abit right!! If not the beautiful scenery like wasted sia!

Stop pushing us! LOL!

Hiatus for another few days!

Another special normal day

It was Anselm's birthday on Monday and we decided to kinda "celebrate" his birthday on Wednesday for him with MFP! Drew on stones we took from the stony place outside Colours on our way back to Primers Room from the Library.

Exams are over alr, like finally but I kinda screwed the Company Law up cuz Idk what is the question asking about, but heck care hur. Hope I can pass can alr.

Its 4.41am in the morning now, and I am awake after Joey's wake up call yeah! Supposed to be studing for Company Law Paper which will start at 9am and marks the official end of my Exams at 11.10am!

Itouch is coming today, but I doubt anyone will be at home to collect it unless I'm that tired till I gotta go home and sleep before I head out again.

All the best for Friday papers and pls be an easy paper ok.

How I wish I am a little kid who doesn't know anything now. If that could make me feel better. Seeing him like this makes me feel so sad. My heart, Idk how to describe it now alr. I don't mind doing anything in exchange for that something back into my life. We shall see how tmr. I am almost already prepared for the worst, I am srs about this. Sister has no school tmr and I think she has plans about what to do about it already. I am still a fortunate kid to have so many wonderful friends around me, accompanying me even though it is almost 2am in the morning whenever I msg them. I feel very blessed and very touched by every single one of their words. I know. They will pray for me. I appreciate it alot alot.

I am very affected by this and everything I study cannot get into my brain and I think it will definitely affect my Friday's paper. I have so many plans in the next 2 weeks after my exams before school starts again on the 18th Oct 2010.

But I reckon from the situation now, everything will turn out this way:

18th Sep - Voluntary work at somewhr Idk.

19th Sep - Rio Camp GL briefing and Game Trails

20th Sep - Kbox with Xinyan

22nd - 26th Sep - Rio Camp

27th Sep - Gathering with Bff when Wanning is back in SG

28th - 30 Sep - Chalet with MFP

I am very sad and disappointed when this happens, but what to do. I am more worried about what is happening at home.

I seek for the greatest grace, for health and for peace for ___.

Just when I thought things are turning better -

It is impossible to describe my feeling now because I don't even know why am I feeling this way. I am not the only one who thought about it. She told me sth about him too. Worried and Fear.

Went Changi Airport to study again ytd and I completed 4 chapters of Company Law which I am so proud of myself because of that. It may be the most productive day after so long, so izzit just that the Chapters are short :x

I gotta continue with the rest of the last 3 chapters and I aim to finish them today.

On a side note, Itouch is confirmed to be delivered on the 17th, just when my exams ended. I was so happy and so eggcited about it last night but now, there are more worrying things that's on my mind and I couldn't help but to think about it again and again.

I wish for nothing now, just hope that things will be better and return to what it used to be like. Please, I pray.

I won't be at home on the 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29 and 30th September cuz I have RIO camp and chalet with My Favourite People and I am so excited for all those events coming up! But I still have to conquer my Company Law paper on the 17th first. Itouch will be coming in either on the 16th/17th and I can't wait for that too :) Oh not to mention the Voluntary work on the 18th at the RDA or sth which I completely have no idea about. But I know Milly sis, my sis and I are in the same area called "Colouring Competition" and we will be together at least :)

Brought Mummy out to Just Acia for dinner that night and the 2 little boys tagged along!

He said he wanted to do "unglam" shots, which I reckon he learnt the word from me cuz I always say that in front of him when he started snapping pictures of me using my camera!

I didn't want to and he started pointing at me HAHA! So cute :)

I am going to the Airport to study with Nuning and Joey later this afternoon and I hope I can finish my notes like at least up till chapter 6 yeah. Tmr's Poly50 again and we've already thot of where to go for dinner after that!
